Considered homes.
Built properly.

Homes designed around
the way you live.
A successful renovation should do more than change how a property looks.
It should improve how it feels, flows and functions every day.
For more than 25 years, California Designs UK has been transforming London homes through considered construction, skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail.
From the structure behind the walls to the materials and finishes you see every day, we approach the home as one complete project.

-

Our team manages the construction from structural works and first fix through to the visible finishes.
-
04 / FINISH
Materials, transitions, alignment, lighting and detailing receive the same attention as the larger construction work.
-
05 / HANDOVER
The property is reviewed, final details are addressed and the completed home is prepared for handover.
Original character.
Carefully renewed.
London homes come with history.
Original floorboards. Period brickwork. Sash windows. Chimneys. Original detailing. Decades of alterations.
Renovating these properties requires an understanding of what should change and what is worth preserving.
Where possible, we retain and restore original character while improving the structure, performance and functionality of the home around it.
Renewed without losing
what made it worth keeping.
What you don't see
matters.
Behind every beautifully finished room is another layer of work.
Structure. Plumbing. Electrics. Insulation. Waterproofing. Preparation. Carpentry. Problem solving.
These elements matter just as much as the materials and finishes you eventually see.
We treat the entire build as one connected project rather than a collection of individual jobs.
A home is only as good
as what's behind the finish.
“California Designs UK has taken care of our entire home renovation, from the major structural work through to the smallest finishing details. With an older property, there have been plenty of unexpected challenges, but they’ve always found a solution and made sure everything is done properly. We’ve trusted them with our whole home and couldn’t recommend them enough.”
